A big balloon, flying high into the sky, higher and higher to the moon and stars. Together with the tiny kiwi bird, both children and adults go on an adventure in a hot air balloon, making the dream of flying come true. 

Each day in a child's life is full of new experiences; step by step they discover the world. This performance is inspired by the way children think, ask questions, meet new things, people and situations. Their associations surprise us all the time, their imagination is huge and unlimited, just like the cosmos. The tiny kiwi is just like a toddler; open minded, inquisitive, and full of energy.

In a safe and cozy environment, Open Window Theatre invites to an exploration of senses, with colours, shapes, sounds, smells and even flavors. This is an unique opportunity for the adults to look at the children in a new social and creative setting, deepening the relationship between kids and adults. 

Actress and artistic director of Open Window Theatre, Dominika Minkacz-Sira, invited a experienced director and scenographer in theatre dedicated to the youngest children i Poland to make The Tiny Huge Journey. With soft electronica melodies, music by Jostein Avdem Fretland gives the performance an ambient and adventurous atmosphere.
